Olive passed away October 27, 2011 at the Gassville Nursing Center at the age of 96. She was born September 1, 1915 at Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania, the daughter of John Ira and Rose C. Myers Brown. She married Oran Elmo Owens and was a homemaker. She lived in Gassville since 1958 moving from Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 1 son, Thomas Owens.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara C. Hickey of Oceanside, California.
Burial will be in the Jersey Shore Cemetery in Pennsylvania.
Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
