Ollie Schmitt died Wednesday, November 19, 2008 in Mountain Home at the age of 92. She was born Sunday, November 12, 1916 in Graymont, Illinois, the daughter of Frank and Rena Jansen Monk. She married Herman M. Schmitt on October 15, 1938 at Flanagan, Illinois and was a homemaker. Ollie lived in Mountain Home since 2005 moving from Colorado. Survivors: Ollie Schmitt is survived by 2 sons, Paul (Susan) Schmitt of Apple Valley, MN and Don (Karen) Schmitt of Mountain Home, AR, 1 daughter, Joanne Schmitt of Lakewood, CO, 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman M. Schmitt, parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister. Funeral: Memorial services for Ollie L. Schmitt of Littleton, CO, will be at a later date in Colorado. Burial: Burial will be in the City of Golden Cemetery, Golden, Colorado. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Good Samaritan Village.
