Oscar Martin

Oscar Ogle Martin was born June 26, 1922 at Forrest, Wisconsin the son of Gus & Emma Thomas Martin. He married Esther Burlingame at Pine City, Minnesota on December 23, 1949 and had resided in the Mountain Home area since moving from Savonburg, Kansas in 2002. He loved working with his cattle and farming. He taught all his grandkids to fish and was a member of Ruitan Club in Elsmore, Kansas. Oscar Martin entered into eternal rest at Care Manor Nursing Home on February 26, 2009 at the age of 86 years and 8 months Survivors: Wife, Esther Martin of the home; 1 son, Danny L. Martin of Chanute, Kansas; 1 daughter Sandra J. (Jerry) Binnion of Mountain Home; 1 Brother, Richard Martin of Gainesville, Missouri; 7 Grandchildren, Danny Martin, Jr, Pamela Loridon, Tina Crapson, Tracey Powell, Jennifer Shaddy, James M. Binnion and Seth Martin; 9 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great Great Grandchildren; Special friends, Joe & Mary Smith, Hermon & Flo Honas and Ken Good Preceded in Death by: Parents, 1 Son, Gary L.
