Owen Lawrence

Owen Lawrence was born October 22, 1927 in Cornwall, England, the son of Wilfred G. and Florence M. (Holman) Lawrence. He married Hazel Sweet on September 20, 1950 in Cornwall, England. He was a Milwright worker and had lived in the Mountain Home area since moving from Milwaukee in 1993.He is survived by his wife, Hazel Lawrence and Son, Robert J. (Melissa) Lawrence, Daughter, Sharon (Scott) Nowakowski, grandsons Brandon J. (Pricilla) and Tristan Lawrence; granddaughter Samantha K. Lawrence, great-granddaughter Taelynn Lawrence; Brother, G. Roy Lawrence, Sisters, Betty Brixton and Shirley (Barrie) Moore, brother and sister-in-law Trevor and Lillian Sweet, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends in England, New Zealand, and the USA. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 Brother, Reginald G. Lawrence and 2 sisters in law, Dorcas and Pamela Lawrence, and his brother in law Leslie Brixton. Visitation: Monday, July 6, 2009 at Kirby Funeral Home from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. Funeral: Memorial service at Kirby Funeral Home Chapel on Monday,July 6, 2009 at 7:00 PM with Reverend Siegried Johnson and Reverend Randy Ludwig officiating.
