Patricia Mae Goddard was born November 3, 1937 in Cary, Illinois. She was the only child to Charles and Ruth Marie Anderson Galvin. She attended school in the Barrington, Illinois area and married Gordon Brockway on June 15, 1957. Together they had 3 children, Julie (Bob) Mitchell of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, Mark (Evelyn) Brockway of Incline Village, Nevada and Lynn (Brian) Zirzow of Goodrich, Michigan. Patricia married LaVerne Goddard on July 16, 1976 in Crystal Lake, Illinois. She worked at Vacuum Ceramics of Cary; Dodge Trophy, producer of the Oscar Trophy, of Crystal Lake; and Fox Valley Marking Systems in Cary, Illinois. Pat worked in England during the mid 1980's, where she started a new plant for Fox Valley Marking Systems. In 1987 Pat and Vern retired to Mountain Home, Arkansas. Pat enjoyed the relaxed Ozark lifestyle, home remodeling, keeping up with family and friends, and caring for her ever-changing family of cats. As the daughter of a highly decorated WWII Veteran, Pat enjoyed providing pictures and information to authors and others researching WWII. Pat rejoined the workforce as a personal care giver and was working at the Monroe House at the time of her passing. Patricia Mae Goddard passed away at her residence on March 6, 2005 at the age of 67 years, 4 months and 3 days.
