A Celebration of Life for Patricia Marie Helmus of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 14, 2014, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel with Hoevel-Barnett V.F.W. Post #1341 Auxiliary officiating.
Patricia passed away June 5, 2014, in Gassville, Arkansas at the age of 91. She was born October 13, 1922, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Edward and Libuse Kepka Sindelar. She married Richard Helmus on January 31, 1948, in Cicero, Illinois and worked as an Accounting Clerk for A.B. Dick. Patricia lived in Bull Shoals since 1983, moving from Chicago, Illinois. She was a member of the Hoevel-Barnett V.F.W. Post #1341 Auxiliary, Marion County Home Extension, North Arkansas Woodcarvers and Fisherman's Club of Bull Shoals. She enjoyed woodcarving, swimming and was a Cubs fan.
Patricia is survived by her two sons, Richard (Anne) Helmus of Flippin, AR and Brian Helmus of Chicago, IL; four daughters, Karlene (Steven) Ramsdell of Shorewood, IL, Mary Smith of Chicago, IL, Nancy (Mike) Autenrieth of Mt. Prospect, IL and Laurie (Chuck) Then of Barrington, IL; brother, Ed Sindelar of Grand Rapids, MI; sister, Susan Dedo of Spring Grove, IL; 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and two sisters, Karlene and Elaine.
