Patricia Beth Hogue

Patricia "Patty" Beth Hogue of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away September 9, 2024, in Gassville, Arkansas at the age of 72. She was born November 19, 1951, in Long Beach, California, the daughter of Mark and Mary Obidine McNamara. Patricia worked as a nurse for 10 years before retiring in 1985. She lived in Mountain Home since moving from California, in 2005. She was a member of the Riverside Church of Christ in Gassville, Arkansas. Patty loved to crochet baby blankets, booties, and stockings galore. She did it all for the warm smiles she received. Her Godly purpose was to send cards and letter to reach the hearts of others. Patty created art to warm the hearts of others. She was sweet and also complex. Most of all, she loved God and He loved her.

Patricia is survived by her daughters, Jannett Escalada of Edinburg, TX, and Theresa Cruz of Arlington, TX; son, Joe Evarts of Oakleaf, TX; sister, Dianna (David) Fulghum of Bull Shoals, AR; 13 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and special friends, Marie Merryman, Diane Botts, and DeDe and Gary Stephens. Go and be at peace, we love you.

She was preceded in death by her parents. 

A Memorial Service for Patricia will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at Riverside Church of Christ, with Brother Ron Morgan officiating.
