A Funeral Service for Patricia Carol "Mamaw" McCoy of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home, with Dr. Sam Bailey officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 3, 2015, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home.
Pat passed away January 30, 2015, in Little Rock, Arkansas at the age of 69. She was born October 8, 1945, in Forest City, Arkansas. She married Don McCoy on January 9, 1962, at Lamont, California and owned Mad Ratters Beauty Salon in Oildale, California, Devonshire Antiques in Bakersfield, California and Cal City Carpets in California City, California. Pat lived in Arkansas since 2007, moving from California City, California. She had a love for the performing arts and was very involved in her family's dance studio where she enjoyed costuming and attending their dance competitions and recitals. Pat also had a love for painting, gardening, photography, poetry, shopping and bowling. She was a member of the Friday Mixers Bowling League along with her family. Don and Pat enjoyed golfing.
Pat is survived by her husband, Don McCoy, two daughters, Kelly Wade of Mountain Home, AR, and Robin Ross of Cotter, AR; sons-in-law, Jack Wade and Tom Ross; five grandchildren, Joshua Davenport, Gabi Gerlach, Jerricho McCoy, Jordyn Winkler and Juliette Wade; seven great-grandchildren, Brooklynne Cooper, Paris Gerlach, Rio McCoy, Lundyn Gerlach, Italy McCoy, Ireland Winkler and Autumn Winkler.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery in Mountain Home, Arkansas with Joshua Davenport, Tom Ross, Jack Wade, Shaun Gerlach, Kacy Combs and Bud McCoy as pallbearers.
