Patricia Smith

Patricia died May 4, 2009 at Hospice of the Ozarks. She was 85 years old. Patricia was born January 29, 1925 to Salem and Adele Bryant Watson at Petersburg, Indiana. She was a cosmetologist. Patricia had lived in Bull Shoals since 1980 after moving here from Royal Oak, Michigan. She was a member of the Hoevel-Barnett Post #1341 Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary. Patricia never wanted anyone to do without especially the children. She started the annual VFW Children's Christmas Party in Bull Shoals to make sure every child had a present at Christmas. She loved to quilt and was a member of the Bull Shoals United Methodist Church. Survivors: Patricia is survived by two sons; Michael Trompak of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Douglas Trompak(Jennifer Davis) of Bull Shoals, Arkansas and one grandchild Jared Trompak of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her two husbands Michael Trompak and George Smith, two daughters; Patricia Trompak and Susan Blackburn and her two brothers. Funeral: A Memorial Service for Patricia L. Smith of Bull Shoals, Arkansas was held Monday May 11, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Bull Shoals United Methodist Church with Reverend Nicholas Lascaro and Dr. Reverend Fred Taylor officiating. Memorials: Memorials may be made to Hospice House of the Ozarks.
