Patricia Van De Veer, 82, of Lakeview, Arkansas passed away May 14, 2014, in Mountain Home, AR surrounded by her family. Services for Pat will be private.
Pat was born June 16, 1931, in Oak Park, IL to Ferdinand E. and Doris Jean Ogilvie Schaumburg. She married her childhood sweetheart, James Van De Veer, April 16, 1950 in Peoria, IL. Pat was a pharmacy tech for Bogard and Super X Drugs for over 13 years. She and husband, Jim, moved to Lakeview from Peoria, Il in 1995. Pat was an avid reader, a dedicated Chicago Cubs fan and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Pat is survived by her husband Jim of Lakeview, AR; son Daniel Van De Veer (Marsha) of Peoria, IL; daughters Lynne Baker (Rick) of Washington, IL and Vicki Murray (Rick) of Bartonville, Il; grandchildren, Megan (Matt) Schumm, Tom (Janice) Murray, Kirsten (Adam) Maurer, Michael Van De Veer, Cecilee Van De Veer and Cody Baker; and five great-grandchildren. One son, parents, one brother James Schaumburg and two sisters, Betty Rice and Jane Hustak preceded her in death.
