Patrick Boland

Patrick Boland died Monday, May 25, 2009 in Midway at the age of 67. He was born Saturday, August 2, 1941 in San Diego, California, the son of Jack and Maryann Kellerstrauss Boland. He married Jackie Hagler on December 21, 1961 at Tijuana, Mexico and worked as a Cine-Technician for the movie industry. Patrick lived in Midway since 2004 moving from Los Angeles, California. He was a friend of the Hoevel-Barnett VFW Post #1341 and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie #3183. He was a NASCAR fan and motorcyclist. He will be remembered as being a truly giving person. Survivors: Patrick Boland is survived by his wife, Jackie Boland, 3 sons, James Boland of Los Angeles, CA, Curtis "Chris" Boland of Spokane, WA and Ronald Boland of Los Angeles, CA, 2 daughters, Wendy Alvarez of North Hills, CA and Debra Rios of Los Angeles, CA, 2 brothers, George Boland of San Diego, CA and Marshall Dewolfe of San Francisco, CA, sister, Jacqueline Bunch of San Diego, CA, special uncle, Richard Keller and grandchildren, Chris and Tim Alvarez and Matthew Marquette. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation: Visitation will be from 4-7 P.M., Friday, May 29 at the Funeral Home. Funeral: A Celebration of Life for Patrick Henderson Boland of Midway, AR, will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 30, 2009 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel - Bull Shoals, with Mr. Chuck Sumner officiating. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Fraternal Order of Eagles or Heart Disease Fund.
