Patrick Carlson

Funeral services for Patrick J. Carlson, 23, of Henderson will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 5 at Zion Lutheran Church in Blackduck, Minnesota, with Reverend Dean Oelfke officiating. Patrick Carlson died Wednesday, November 29, 2006, at his residence. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. He was born November 5, 1983, in Bemidji, Minnesota, the son of Debra (Carlson) Benson and David Carlson. He was raised in Blackduck, Minnesota, and moved to Arkansas to live and work with his father. Patrick enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed spending time at the lake and fishing. He is survived by his father, David Carlson of Henderson, Arkansas; mother, Debra (Mark) Benson of Blackduck, Minnesota; sisters, Tiffany (Jeffrey) Volk of Blackduck, Tonelle (Robert) Carlson of Bemidji, Minnesota, and Brenda Carlson of Bemidji; nephews and nieces, Trey, Isaac, Kylie and Makenna; friend Laura Progreba; grandmother, Marilyn Carlson of Blackduck; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dolores and Myron Connell; paternal grandfather, Richard Carlson; uncle, Jeffrey Carlson; and step-grandmother, Ethel Benson. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Blackduck.
