Patrick Alvin Perdue was born March 10, 1947 at Fanning, Missouri the son of Stanley and Jean Lupardus Perdue. He married Carole Short at Bull Shoals, Arkansas on November 4, 1971 and had resided in the Bull Shoals area since moving from Oran, Missouri in 1969. He was a River & Lake Guide and served with the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a member of First Baptist Church, White River Guides Association, co-founder of North Central Arkansas Trout Unlimited, retired from Bull Shoals Fire Department, an avid hunter, holds several world and state fishing records and a deer recorded with Pope & Young. He passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2004 at his residence at the age of 57 years, 7 months and 13 days. Survivors: . He is survived by his wife Carol; 2 sons Jeffrey (Evonne) Perdue of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, John Perdue of El Dorado, Arkansas; 2 Grandsons Patrick John and Zachary Scott Perdue; 3 Brothers Monte Perdue of Georgia, James (Sarah) Perdue of Midway, Danny Perdue of Bull Shoals; 6 Sisters Jackie Myers of Prot Richie, Florida Dian Scholl of Port Richie, Florida, Judy (Al) of Bull Shoals, Cindy (Herchel) of Port Richie, Rebecca (Eddie) McConnell of Oran, Missouri, Cathy (Raymond) of Oran. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by a sister Lynda McConnell, 2 brothers Stanley and Michael Perdue and his parents.
