A Memorial Service for Paul Bernard Albrecht, 81, of Oakland, AR will be 11AM Thursday, March 28, 2013, at Christ By The Lake Lutheran Church in Bull Shoals, AR with Reverend David Mattson officiating. Entombment will be in Kirby?s Tucker Mausoleum. Paul passed away March 19, 2013. Paul was born June 27, 1931, in Wuppertal, Germany to Joseph and Gertrude Schaefer Albrecht. He started in the plumbing trade after The War and became an installatier, a plumber and sheet metal craftsman. He met his wife Adele Ruppel and married in 1955. In 1960, they immigrated to the United States to Chicago, Illinois where he continued the plumbing trade as a licensed Chicago Plumber and member of United Association Local 130 for over 50 years. He was also became an Arkansas Lifetime Licensed Master Plumber. Paul moved to Arkansas in 1992, where he built his dream home. He was a craftsman in his trade and also in life. He enjoyed creating art, be it in plumbing or building bird houses or copper sheet art. Paul also enjoyed traveling, hunting, boating, nature walks and horseback riding. Paul was a fan of Westerns and of John ?The Duke? Wayne. Paul is survived by wife, Adele of Oakland, Arkansas; son, Dirk Albrecht (Aimee); daughter, Marion Albrecht; three grandchildren, Shayla, Sarah and Joshua Jaroch and one great-grandchild, Grace of Billings, Montana.
