Paul Branch

Paul Ray Branch was born February 16, 1932, at Shreveport, Louisiana, to J. F. and Amelia Vercher Branch. He married Carolyn R. Wright on January 31, 1955, at El Paso, Texas. He earned a B.A. degree in science and was a pharmaceutical salesman for Merck and Company for 28 years. Mr. Branch was an Army veteran who lived in Mountain Home since moving from Albuquerque, New Mexico, in 1996. He was of Catholic faith. Paul died on December 14, 2006 at the Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home at the age of 74 years, 9 months and 28 days. Survivors: His wife Carolyn Branch of Mountain Home; two sons, Paul Russell (Maureen) Branch of Woodridge, Virginia, and Craig Raymond (Kathie) Branch of Albuquerque, New Mexico; one daughter, Vanessa Rae (Doug) Bristol of Houston, Texas; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; two brothers, O.C. (Betty) Field of Vacavillo, California, and George Field of Alvin, Texas; and one sister, Patricia White of Hosston, Louisiana. Visitation: from 1:00 ? 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home. Funeral: 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 17, 2006, at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Leonard Griffiths officiating. Burial: Scattering of Cremains will be in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Scattering Gardens. Memorials: American Cancer Society.
