Services for Paul Neff Davis of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be private. Paul passed away May 24, 2012, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 94. He was born January 12, 1918, in Altoona, Pennsylvania, the son of Amos and Mary Sickles Davis. He married Lois E. Schnably on July 20, 1940, at Winchester, Virginia. A Navy veteran, Paul served in the Pacific Theater, with the 125th Seabee Battalion during WWII. Paul lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since 2006 moving from Martinsburg, Pennsylvania. He was a member of the First Christian Church. Paul is survived by his wife, Lois E. Davis of Mountain Home; daughter, Carol Davis of Mountain Home, AR; 5 grandchildren, Don (Penny) Haldeman of Goose Creek, SC, Genevieve (Byron) Haldeman of San Jose, CA, Cindy Laster of Blue Springs, MO, James Howry of Snellville, GA and Susan Howry of Omaha, NE and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 8 brothers and sisters and daughter, JoAnne Gumm of Mountain Home. Memorials may be made to the U.S.O.
