Paul Dean Langston

Paul Dean Langston, 88, passed away peacefully on November 17th, 2023. He was born and raised in Pine Bluff, and he recently lived in Little Rock and Stuttgart, Arkansas. He earned his degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Arkansas and served in the Air Force before starting a long career at the Pittsburgh Activated Carbon division of Calgon Corporation, later known as Calgon Carbon.

He is survived by his three children, Chris Langston (Shirlee) of Bridger, MT, Lance Langston of New York City, and Kelly Hagaman (Mike) of Mountain Home, AR. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, Jed Langston, Maggie Langston, Alex Hagaman (Brittany), Ben Hagaman and Christian Hagaman (Madison); four great-grandchildren, Hank, Teddy, Kayson and Kohen; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Chloe Ann Lee Langston, his parents, Lloyd and Annie (Renfro) Langston, his brothers Waple (Mary Francis) Langston and Nelson (Mary Eunice) Langston; his sisters Reba (Elton) Townsend and Mary George (Wayne) Boyter.

Our father’s generosity knew no bounds, particularly when it came to children’s causes and nature conservation, and donations in his memory may be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital or to Delta Waterfowl or to the charity of your choice.
