Memorial graveside services for Paul M. Mace of Midway, Arkansas, will be 2:00 PM Saturday, May 1, 2010 at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, with Reverend Paul Mace and Pastor Lynnda Jones officiating.
Paul died Monday, December 7, 2009 in Mountain Home, AR, at the age of 92. He was born May 27, 1917 in Struthers, Ohio, the son of Grover Cleveland and Julia McCue Mace. He married Marian Lambert on August 30, 1945 at West Virginia. He worked as an Inspector for Youngstown Sheel and Tube and was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He lived in Midway, Arkansas since 2001 moving from Bradenton, Florida. He was a member of the Robinwood Reformed Presbyterian Church and loved helping others, gardening and fishing.
Paul is survived by 3 sons, James (Marty) Mace of Midway, AR, Rev. Paul (Nancy) Mace of Vero Beach, Florida and Robert (Becky) Miller of Overland Park, KS; 2 brothers, Dale Mace and Grover Mace both of Middletown, Ohio; 9 grandchildren, Kevin, Brenda, Kyle, Daniel, David, Matthew, Timothy, Corey and Chrissy, 4 great-grandchildren, Caleb, Ethan, Mia and Faith and a special friend, Ollie Poteet of Boardman, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 1 brother and 1 sister.
