Paul Eugene Pope

Paul Pope of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away October 24, 2023, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 82. He was born November 26, 1940, in Barstow California. He married Gretchen Leik on January 4, 1958, in Las Vegas, Nevada and worked as a Maintenance Contractor Coordinator for AAA of California. Paul was a U.S. veteran of the Marine Corp. Paul lived in Mountain Home since moving from California in 2002. He enjoyed skydiving, working on classic cars, brewing beer and helping out his friends and neighbors.

Paul is survived by his sons; Adam Pope, Scott Pope and Ronald Pope; granddaughter, Haven Pope-Thomas; great grandson William Pope-Thomas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Gretchen Pope.

A graveside service for Paul will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery Open Air Chapel, with Father Norbert Rappold officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Alley-White American Legion Post #52.
