Pauline Figurski

Pauline Louise Figurski, 80, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, in Mountain Home. Pauline was born on January 8, 1943, in Chicago, Illinois, to Martin and Pauline Chidester Woods. She graduated from Fenger High School in Chicago, Illinois and went on to become a certified dietary manager. She moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas from Chicago, in 1974. After 25 years, she retired from Baxter Regional Medical Center in 2009. Pauline was best known for sewing, reading, and she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pauline is survived by son, Martin Figurski of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Hope (Eric) Sammons of Mountain Home, AR; four grandchildren, Merica (James) Barnes, Sean (Charlotte) Sammons, Ross (Kenzie) Sammons, and Dakota (Ashley) Figurski; six great-grandchildren, Jacqueline Barnes, Tyler Barnes, Blake Garrison, Berkleigh Sammons, Naite Shick, and Tristan Shick; and sister, Marion Washner.

She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and two sisters.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 25, 2023, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at 10:00 am at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Bentley Ridge Cemetery, in Clarkridge, Arkansas, with Sean Sammons, Ross Sammons, Dakota Figurski, Ed Coombs, Merica Barnes, and Robert Washner as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Coombs, Tyler Barnes, and Blake Garrison.

Memorial donations may be made in Pauline's name to Peitz Cancer Support House, 624 Hospital Drive, Mountain Home, AR 72653.
