Peggy J. Anthony

Peggy J. Anthony of Lakeview, Arkansas, passed away November 28, 2020, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 86. She was born November 10, 1934, in Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of Herbert Willis and Wilma Louise McMurrray Thompson. She married William "Bill" Anthony on June 7, 1952, in Las Vegas, NV. Peggy lived in Lakeview since moving from California in 1996. Peggy was loved by many. She was a homemaker who raised four children and assisted with raising the grandchildren. While she was a quiet and unassuming soul, she was intelligent and well-informed. She enjoyed reading, cooking, crafts, collecting knick-knacks, watching old classic movies, shopping and family vacations. In her later years , she enjoyed keeping up with family and friends through Facebook and our "women of the family" group text. She also enjoyed being called "Grandma Piggy" by some of the younger great-grandchildren. She was loved by many and will be sorely missed.

Peggy is survived by her husband, William Anthony of Lakeview, AR; daughters, Karen (Steve) Follmar of League City, TX, Sheri (Jerry) Bibb of Lakeview, AR and Suzan (Richard) Zendejas of Whittier, CA; son, Steven S. Anthony of West Covina, CA; sister Patricia Leon of Temecula, CA; grandchildren, Heather (Eric) Watson, Daniel (Heather) Guinn of Lakeview, AR, Rachel (Jesse) An of Fayetteville, AR, Everett Bibb of Myrtle Beach, SC, Jennifer (Scott) Daniels of Katy, TX, Amanda (Matt) Colwell of Houston, TX and Jeffrey (Charlotte) Allen of Anaheim, CA and 13 great-grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two great grandsons, Brennan and Dalton Watson.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
