Graveside services for Peggy Littlejohn of Mountain Home will be at 12:00 Friday, November 24 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Loves Park, Illinois. Myrtle I. Littlejohn was born July 3, 1911, at Esmond, Illinois, the daughter of Mark and Edna Sharp Goodrich. She was a sales clerk for Gold Blatt's Dept. Store and operated Littlejohn Trucking with her late husband. She also assisted her husband while he was road commissioner for Cherry Valley, Illinois, township. Mrs. Littlejohn lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas, since moving from Rockford, Illinois, in 1991. She was of Protestant faith. Myrtle I. Littlejohn entered into eternal rest on November 20, 2006, at Mountain Home, Arkansas, at the age of 95 years, 4 months and 17 days. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands and two sons. She is survived by one son, George E. Lyman of Mountain Home, Arkansas; one daughter-in-law, Donna Lyman of Rockford, Illinois; two grandchildren, Kevin Ruch of Loves Park, Illinois, and Teresa Olson of Belvedere, Illinois; and special friend, Jo Murley of Mountain Home, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
