Peggy Arnold Van Deusen

Peggy Arnold Van Deusen, 73 passed away on Tuesday, August 8,2023, in Mountain Home, AR. Peggy was born December 31, 1949, in Bloomington, IL to Noble and Lois (Mortland) Arnold. She graduated from Crystal Lake Community High School in 1968. She attended Illinois State University before transferring to Elgin Community College, where she graduated with an RN degree in 1981. Peggy remained in the nursing profession until her retirement. She and her husband Geoff were ardent travelers and accomplished scuba divers, visiting diving sites worldwide. Peggy enjoyed camping, biking, kayaking, but most of all spending time with her family.

Peggy is survived by her husband Geoffrey Van Deusen; stepson ,Geoffrey Van Deusen, Jr. of Olathe, KN and his children, Geofrey III, Anna, and Adeline; brother, Ted (Julie) Arnold of Portage, MI; sister-in-law, Linda (Jeffrey) Arnold of Creston, IL; niece Leah (Brett) Larmon; nephew, Benjamin (Malynda) Arnold; and nephew, Colin (Sarah) Arnold.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Noble and Lois; and her brother Jeffrey.

Interment will be 11:00 am, October 7, 2023, at the Crystal Lake Memorial Park Cemetery in Crystal Lake, IL.
