Please join the family in celebrating the life of Perry A. Boore of Oakland, Arkansas, at 1:00 pm, Saturday, March 28, 2015, at the Twin Lakes Baptist Church, with Reverend Sam Bailey officiating.

Perry passed away March 2, 2015, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 82. He was born March 17, 1932, in West Mineral, Kansas, the son of Carl and Florence Goff Boore. He married Carol Kromphardt on January 17, 1955, in Springfield, Illinois and graduated from Eureka college with bachelor's degree's in business and mathematics. Perry worked as a Plant Manager for Boise-Cascade and Lehn & Fink. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He lived in Oakland since 1982, moving from Illinois. Perry and his wife began Perry's Orphan Sanctuary in 1987 devoting his life to rescuing abused, neglected and unwanted animals.

Perry is survived by his three daughters, Deborah J. Duran of Phoenix, AZ, Carla J. Colby of Washington D.C. and Becky Kleinschmidt of Normal, IL; two sisters, Joyce A. Woods and Janice Maryman; four grandchildren, Faith Hardenbrook, Heather Jones, Alexa Colby and Andrea Barnes; four great-grandchildren, Nathaniel Dover, Tyler Jones, Zackery Jones and Makenzie Jones and three nephews, Kevin Woods, Kurtis Woods and Jamie Maryman; two nieces, Deborah Boore Barnhart and Jana Maryman Leiker.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife and one brother, Carl J. Boore, Jr.

Military Honors will be provided by the Alley-White American Legion Post #52 and United States Army Honor Guards.
