Peter Lebda died Thursday, May 15, 2008 in Mountain Home at the age of 88. Peter Lebda was born Friday, June 13, 1919 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Frank and Anna Marchis Lebda. He married Anita on November 11, 1971 at Chicago and worked as a mechanic troubleshooter for Oldsmobile & Cadillac. Peter Lebda was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and lived in Mountain Home since 1986 moving from Calumet City, Illinois. He was a life member of the VFW. Survivors: Peter Lebda is survived by 3 special friends, James Madison of Mountain Home, AR, Tom Jerashen of Mountain Home, AR, and Trish Gresko of FL. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and 1 brother. Funeral: A Funeral Mass for Peter F. Lebda of Mountain Home, AR, will be 10:00 A.M Monday, May 19, 2008 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, with Reverend. Charles Kanu, as celebrant. Burial: Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, Mountain Home, Arkansas. Memorials: Memorial may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks. Active Bearers: Roger Ganzagowski, Dale Lakin, George Murphy, Frank Vlasic, Robert Lammers and Paul Schwartz will serve as pallbearers.
