Polly Cottrell

A Celebration of Life for Polly A. Cottrell, Beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother, of Bull Shoals, Arkansas will be 4PM Sunday August 28, 2011 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Bull Shoals with family receiving friends from 3 until time of service. Polly was taken home suddenly from this earth Friday August 19, 2011 at Gateway Regional Medical Center, Granite City, IL. She was 52. Polly was born February 16, 1959 in Rockford, IL the only daughter of Kenneth and Patricia Howe Brenner. She married Randy Cottrell October 10, 2009 in Bull Shoals, AR. Polly worked for ALS Technologies in Bull Shoals and earned her Insurance Producer License and Pharmacy Technician Certificate in the last year. She enjoyed playing Bunko with her friends. Polly is survived by her husband Randy, daughter, Patricia (James) Morton; son, Gordon (Andrea) Ralston; three grandchildren, Madison, Taylor and Kealynn; stepchildren Logan (Tricia Boyden) Cottrell, Megan (Mike) Wilbur and Chelsea Cottrell; parents, Kenneth and Patricia Brenner; four brothers, David (Lynn) John (Sue), Brooks (Kari) and Robin (Sylvia) Brenner. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Ralston and late husband, Gordon Ralston. Services in Loves Park, IL will be Thursday, August 25, 2011 at Delehanty Funeral Home, Visitation from 5 to 7PM Wednesday, August 24. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established.
