Ralph L. Griswold of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away at the age of 74 on August 16, 2021 in Mountain Home. He was born on November 14, 1946 in Topeka, Kansas to parents Robert Lee and Peggy Neal (Hutchison) Griswold. Ralph grew up in Terre Haute, Indiana, and New Goshen, Indiana. Ralph proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1966-1968. He married Sue E. Blair on January 28, 1966 in Terre Haute, Indiana and later moved to Sandwich, Illinois where they lived while he worked for Caterpillar Tractor Company of Aurora, Illinois, and the DeKalb County Sheriff's Department Auxiliary. After retiring in 1996, he moved to Mountain Home where he opened his own business of Master Cabinet Making. He enjoyed making items with his hands, camping, and traveling.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Sue Griswold; brother, Roy Griswold; sister Peggy Lee; brother-in-law, Bill (Ann) Blair; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Mark and Jerry Griswold; and loving grandparents, Ples and Ruth Hutchison.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 19, 2021, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be 10:00 am, Friday, August 20, 2021, at East Side Baptist Church, with Pastor Scott Speer and Brother Richard Crawford officiating. Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas. Military Honors will be provided by the Alley-White American Legion Post #52 Honor Guard. Due to current restrictions, masks are required.
Memorials may be made to East Side Baptist Church or Peitz Cancer Support House.
