Ray Junior Ballard was born January 15, 1935 in West Plains, Missouri. He was the son of Ted R. and Lilly Cook Ballard. He married Glenda Moler on April 17, 1992 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Mr. Ballard owned the 89er's Restaurant in Springfield, Missouri for twenty years and lived in Pensacola, Florida prior to moving to Mountain Home, Arkansas in 2004. He was a member of Twin Lakes Baptist Church. Ray Junior Ballard passed away on May 9, 2005, at his residence, at the age of 70 years, 3 months and 24 days.
