Rayburn "Ray" Foster of Salem, Arkansas, passed away December 17, 2021, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 83. He was born June 18, 1938, in Trumann, Arkansas, the son of Henry William and Lucy Anna May (Dame) Foster. He married Linda Gentry-Martino on November 8, 1986. Ray worked as a truck driver and was a U.S. National Guard veteran. He lived in Salem since moving from Laughlin, NV in 2003. He also lived in Bolingbrook, IL for over 30 years. Ray loved being on his ranch and having his children and grandchildren come for a visit. He enjoyed watching the news, fishing, and was also a Harley Davidson enthusiast.
Ray is survived by his wife, Linda Foster of Salem, AR; sons, Rayburn (Andrea) Foster, Jr. of Naperville, IL, and Andrew (Mindy) Martino of Evening Shade, AR; grandchildren, Justin, Michael, Kenneth Jr., Mitchell, Jesse, Shannon, Kelly, Andrew, Kimberlyn, Jeremiah, and Jordan; and great-grandchildren, Kenneth 3rd, Axel, Marley, Camdyn, Sawyer, and Wesley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Lucy Foster; sons, Kenneth and Douglas Foster; and brothers, Tom and Alton Foster.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
