Memorial Services for Raymond Julius Buyck of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at the Fellowship Church with Pastor Shane Milner officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the Alley-White American Legion Post #52 and United States Marine Corps Honor Guards.
Raymond passed away March 2, 2016, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 78. He was born December 12, 1937, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Joseph and Katherine Buyck. He married Ruth Gnatt on January 4, 1981, at North Aurora, Illinois and worked in the food service industry. Raymond was a U.S. Marines veteran. Raymond lived in Mountain Home since 2006, moving from Chicago, Illinois. He was a member of the Fellowship Church of Mountain Home. He loved attending church and studying the bible. He enjoyed telling stories about the bible and his experiences with the Lord.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Ruth Buyck of Mountain Home, AR; children, Daniel (Lynn) Buyck, David (Beth) Buyck, John (Sheryl) Parker, Bob (Nancy) Gnatt, Jo-Ann (Alex) Sorokunov, Cheryl (John) Evans and Joey (Stacy) Gnatt; brother, Donald (Kathleen) Buyck; two sisters-in-law, Rose (Ed) Sochacki and Alyce Alphin; thirteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; loving niece, Keli (Larry) Miniat and special friends, Earl and Mary Dowell.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Peter Buyck.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks.
