A Celebration of Life for Raymond Alan Diehl, 73, of Mountain Home, Arkansas will be Saturday June 11, 2011 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home in Bull Shoals, AR with Reverend Don Dow officiating. Burial will be Thursday June 16, 2011 at Springfield National Cemetery in Springfield, Mo. Raymond died May 28, 2011 at St. Louis University Hospital.
Raymond was born May 25, 1938 at St. Louis, MO to Raymond and Lucille Shaad Diehl. He married Jean Lappy at Duluth, MN September 19, 1964. Raymond was a United States Air Force veteran. He moved to Mountain Home, AR in 1993 and was a long time employee of Microplastics, Inc. in Flippin. He will be remembered for his love of his family and his love of fishing.
Raymond is survived by his wife Jean Diehl; two daughters, Kelly Henley (Ronnie) of Bull Shoals, AR and Wendy McLeod (Tom) of Republic, MO; two sons, Scott Diehl of St. Louis, MO and Keith Diehl of Mountain Home, AR; and seven grandchildren Ashley, Brayden, Chase, Joshua, Caleb, Zachary and Katlyn.
