Raymond Fusco

Beloved husband, father and grandfather, Raymond F. Fusco, 77 of Mountain Home passed away Monday June 16th after a brief illness at Baxter Regional Medical Center. He was born June 3rd, 1931 in Waterbury, Connecticut to Nichola and Elizabeth Fusco. Mr. Fusco graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1954 with a Bachelors Degree and received a Master's Degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1985. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1954 to 1958, retiring as a Signalman First Class. Raymond was married to Patricia Cousey on September 7, 1959 at Waterbury, Connecticut. He then spent his career working as a hospital administrator, retiring from Covenant Medical Center, in Waterloo, IA to Mountain Home in 1996. He was an avid fisherman and served as an officer in the Rod and Reel Club and as President of the North Arkansas Fly Fishers. Mr. Fusco also volunteered at the Mountain Home Municipal Library teaching beginning computer classes. Survivors: He is survived by his wife Patricia of Mountain Home, his sons Mark, Raymond, and Paul, his daughter-in-law Lidy, his grandchildren Gabriela and Nicholas, all of Columbus, OH, his brother Nicholas of Bristol, CT and his sister Elizabeth Ann of Las Vegas, NV. Preceded in Death by: His parents Funeral: A. Memorial Mass for Raymond F. Fusco will be 7:15 AM Saturday, June 21 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. Memorial services will be 6:00 P.M. Saturday, June 21 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Bob Crawford officiating.
