Ray Meinhardt died Sunday, April 5, 2009 at his residence at the age of 88. Ray Meinhardt was born Friday, June 25, 1920 in Milwaukee, Wisc, son of Fred and Martha Risch Meinhardt. He married Edith Lofton on July 4, 1953 at Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He worked as a Purchasing Merchandiser for Figgle International for 42 years. Raymond Meinhardt was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. Raymond lived in Mountain Home since 1987, moving from Sun City West, Arizona. He was a member of Ozark VFW Post 3246, Mountain Home. Survivors: Raymond Meinhardt is survived by several Nieces and nephews including Carolin Meinhardt of Encinitas, California, Craig Meinhardt of Mission Viejo,, California, Ann Johnson of Las Vegas, Nevada, One Sister in Law, Marilyn Meinhardt of Temecula, California, Two Brothers In law, Fred Lofton and Robert George of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers and one sister. Funeral: Memorial Service for Raymond Philip Meinhardt of Mountain Home, AR, will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 9, 2009 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, with Rev. Larry Olson officiating. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Ozarks or Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Active Bearers: Holy Cross Lutheran Church ushers will be pallbearers. Additional Notes: Military Honors provided by North Central Arkansas Veterans Council, Ozark V.F.W. Post #3246 Honor Guard.
