Raymond Ralph "Jiggs" Nyman, 85
Originally from Ely, Minnesota, then Two Harbors, Minnesota, Jiggs passed away December 5, 2015, at his home in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Jiggs was born October 28, 1930, in Ely, Minnesota, the son of Ralph and Marie Burley Nyman. He married Mabel Parson in 1974 in Minnesota and was a Conductor for DMIR Railroad. In 1990, after 40 years of service, Jiggs retired from the railroad and moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Jiggs is survived by his wife, Mabel Nyman of Mountain Home, AR; brother, Glen (Gladys) Nyman of Ely, MN; pet dogs, Mya and Missy; brother Glen (Gladys) Nyman of Ely, MN; nieces and nephews, Marie (Bob) Ross of Hoyt Lakes, MN, Laura Nyman of Maple Grove, MN, Robert (Mary) Nyman of Ely, MN, Paul (Christina) Nyman of Ely, MN, Sandra (Bob Carlson) Nyman of Ely, MN, and Kay (Bob) Richards of Babbitt, MN.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, William Nyman; sister-in-law, Peggy Nyman; and nephew, William Nyman.
Funeral Services will be held at a later date in Minnesota.
