Raymond Leslie Kellogg, affectionately known as Ray or Gypsy, of Flippin, Arkansas, passed away on October 26, 2024, at the age of 79. Born on April 24, 1945, in Hillsdale, Michigan, Ray lived a life filled with service, laughter, and adventure. He married the love of his life, Karen Cummings, on November 16, 1984, in St. Johns, Michigan. A proud veteran, Ray served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, embodying the courage and dedication that defined his character.
Ray moved to Flippin in 1999, where he became an active member of his community. He was involved with the Vietnam Vets Motorcycle Club, the VFW in Pittsburgh, PA, and the American Legion in St. John's, MI. An avid motorcyclist, he cherished the open road, and he found joy in fishing and hunting. Known for his infectious sense of humor, Ray always brought smiles to those around him and was quick to lend a helping hand.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Karen Kellogg and is remembered fondly by three sons, Terrance, Roger, and David and two daughters, Kelly and Shelley as well as numerous grandchildren.
Ray was preceded in death by his adoptive parents and two brothers.
In accordance with his wishes, his cremated remains will be interred at a military cemetery at a later date.
