Reba Estella Lower was born April 22, 1912, to James William Lower and Mary Jane Locke Lower in Shawnee, OK. When she was a young child her family moved to Chandler, OK. She lived there and graduated form Chandler High School in 1931. She met William Riley Willey and they were married in Guthrie, OK on May 15, 1929. After his death April 6, 1930 their son, William Riley Willey, III was born. Later she was married to Alten Richardson Johnson on November 2, 1932 and they had two children, James Thomas and Carmen Estelle Johnson. They lived in Oklahoma and then in Mineral Wells, Texas. After that marriage, she later married John Henry Knicely May 22, 1954 in Denton, TX. They lived in Arlington, Mansfield and Denton, Texas. She moved to Mountain Home with her son and wife in January 1996. She was retired. Formerly she had been employed at Fehrle?s Bakery, Chandler, Oklahoma; Perry Five and Ten and Office Outfitters in Mineral Wells, Texas; record keeper for Barber College in Fort Worth, Texas; and a seamstress for Russell Newman Factory, Denton, Texas. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Mountain Home, Arkansas. She was a member of Rebekah Lodge 120, Woodman of the World; Mineral Wells, Texas and the Chandler Alumni Association, Chandler, Oklahoma. Survivors: one son, William Riley Willey, III and his wife, J. Lyane of Mountain Home, Arkansas; one daughter, Carmen Estelle Johnson Clayton of Springfield, Missouri; four grandchildren, William Riley Willey, IV and wife Susan Marie of Garland Texas, Don Vance Clayton Jr. and wife Anna of South Portland, Maine, Linda McNabb of Springfield, Missouri and Dawn Gomez and husband Alex of Texas. Seven great grandchildren, Stephanie Marie and Amy Michelle Willey, Garland, Texas, Don Vance Clayton, III of South Portland, Maine, Christina and Jessica Story, and Kelsey and Stephanie Gomez of Texas, half sister, Eula Worden Arnaud of Oregon, half brother Clarence Johnson of Oklahoma, nieces, nephews and many friends. Preceded in Death by: parents, a brother, David Lower, a sister, Lorene Freitag, son, James Thomas Johnson, and her husbands.
