Reed Hamilton Reynolds was born July 1, 1921 at Guthrie, Missouri to William Irvin and Grace May Clatterbuck Reynolds. He worked for Chrysler Motor Company for 25 years and retired as production manager of the Dodge Truck Plant in Fenton, Missouri. He moved to Mountain Home in 1980 and married Wanda Mae Honey on December 9, 1981 at Pochantas, Arkansas. He was a WWII Marine Veteran serving in the Marshall Islands and China. He was a member of the Mountain Home VFW Post 3246 and served on the honor guard for 16 years. He was baptized in the Cedar Creek at the age of eleven and was raised in the Hopewell Baptist Church in Bloomsfield, Missouri. He was a member of the East Side Baptist Church and had ushered for 10 years at the Twin Lakes and Mountain Home Baptist Churchs. Reed also played the fiddle as a child. He passed away at Mountain Home on February 10, 2004 at the age of 82 years, 7 months, and 9 days. Survivors: He is survived by his Wife Wanda of Mountain Home, two Sons; Ronald Keith Reynolds (Tracie) of Mansfield, Texas and Leslie White of St. Louis, Missouri, four daughters; Gloria Robinette (Ralph) of Jefferson City, Missouri, Vicki Reynolds, Kim Dodd, and Becky Nahm, all of St. Louis, Missouri. Eleven Grandchildren; Rowan, Eli, Amber, Brittni, Brandi, Jason, Laura, Gerald, David, Lori, and Robin. Three Great Grandchildren; Jason, Monica, and Gavin. One sister; Payton Bartley of Fulton, Missouri, His Mother-in-Law; Artleen Honey and his Brother-in-Law Jim Honey both of Farmington, Missouri. Seven nephews; George, Tom and Roger Bartley and Ben, Jimmy, Scott, and Chris Honey. Two Special friends; Floyd and Cindy Lang. Visitation: 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the Funeral Home. Funeral: 11:00 A.M. Friday at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Sam Bailey and Dr. Mike Shy officiating. Mountain Home VFW post 3246 honor guard will provide military honors. Burial: Entombment will be at Kirby’s Tucker Memorial Mausoleum Memorials: Memorials may be made to Mountain Home Christian Clinic, Shriner’s Hospital for Children or the Altzheimers Foundation.
