Reverend Lesley died Sunday, September 28, 2008 in Mountain Home at the age of 88. She was born Monday, August 23, 1920 in Atkins, Arkansas, daughter of David Andrew and Lillie Mae Kendrick Long. She married Adelbert Lesley on March 27, 1953 at Morrilton, Arkansas. She served as a minister, missionary and teacher. Reverend Lesley lived in this area for 23 years, moving from Chandler, Arizona. She received a Bachelor's degree in Theology from Southern Nazarene University, a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education from John Brown University, and served as a missionary in Africa. Survivors: Reverend Louise Lesley is survived by her husband, Adelbert Lesley, several nieces and nephews and adopted children; Henry & Janie Hubbard and family of Mountain Home, AR. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Visitation: Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. Tuesday til service time. Funeral: Funeral services for Reverend Anita Louise Lesley of Mountain Home, AR, will be 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at Good Samaritan Village Chapel, with Pastor George Petry officiating Burial: Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Twin Lakes Church of the Nazarene Missionary Fund.
