Rex Hanks

Services for Rex Hanks of Mountain Home, Arkansas will be private. Mr. Hanks died Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at his residence, at the age of 84. Rex was born May 30, 1926 in Willow Springs, MO, the son of Clyde and Ruby Kathryn Gregory Hanks. He married Ruby Cordell on December 17, 1951 at Washington, D.C. He was a retired veteran of the U.S. Navy. Rex lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since 1995, moving from Princeton, West Virginia. He was a member of Ozark V.F.W. Post # 3246, Eagle's Lodge #1953, Moose Lodge #3183 FOE, Elk's Lodge #1714 BPOE, and the Fleet Reserve Unit, Branch #251 and Auxilliary. Rex Hanks is survived by his wife, Ruby Hanks, of Mountain Home, Grandchildren, Jasen Rauch and David Carlson, and Great-Grandchild, Eden Rauch. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Hanks, and daughter, Connie Carlson. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
