Dr. Richard LaFevers, DVM, was born October 13, 1939, in West Plains, Missouri. He was the son of J.D. and Ailene LaFevers. He married Margaret Morrow-King, June 24, 1992, in Yellville, Arkansas. Dr. LaFevers practiced veterinary medicine forty-three years, primarily in the state of Missouri, and maintained a cattle ranch for several years in Tecumseh, Missouri. Dr. Richard LaFevers, DVM, passed away at his residence, February 18, 2006, at the age of 66 years, 4 months and 5 days. Survivors: He is survived by his wife of thirteen years, Margaret LaFevers of Clarkridge; three sons, Rick (Traci) LaFevers of Galena, Missouri; Scott LaFevers of New Mexico; Rowdy LaFevers of Alaska; three stepchildren, Daniel (Monica) King of Los Angeles, California; Suzan (David) McCracken of Yellville, Arkansas; Valerie (Lyndel) Brison of Mountain Home; three brothers, Jerry LaFevers of West Plains, Missouri; David LaFevers of Little Rock; Dr. Jim Lock of California; sister April Fee of St. Louis, Missouri; mother Ailene Lock; and four grandchildren. LaFevers Funeral: A memorial service for Dr. Richard LaFevers, DVM, 66, of Clarkridge, Arkansas, will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 25, 2006, at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel in Bull Shoals, Arkansas, with Mr. David LaFevers officiating.
