Services for Richard E. Butzlaff of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be at a later date in Wisconsin.
Richard passed away September 1, 2014, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at Baxter Regional Medical Center, at the age of 82. He was born January 27, 1932, in Beloit, Wisconsin, and was a professional jazz musician from the age of 16, backing well known names over the years. He also loved tennis, fishing, and spending many happy hours in these pursuits.
Richard is survived by his wife, Patricia Gaynor of Mountain Home, AR, three children, Glenn Butzlaff, Jacqueline Rakowski, and Dawn Gurnette all of Milwaukee, WI, their mother, Enid Butzlaff, one sister, two brothers, seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
His family and many friends will remember a very good man and miss him greatly.
Memorials made to the Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock or Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House would be much appreciated.
