Richard I. Drabvzyk was born May 7, 1927 at Chicago, Illinois son of Ignatius and Angelina Novackski Drabczyk. He married Helen Kantorski on April 15, 1972 in Chicago, Illinois. He was a member of St. Peter The Fisherman Catholic Church for many years. He was a member of the Mountain Home Polish Club and of the Ozark Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #3246. Mr. Drabczyk served in the United States Army during World War II. He loved to fly airplaines, fish and hun Survivors: Richard I. Drabczyk is survived by his wife; Helen Drabczyk, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, daughter Marilyn Meyer (Randy) of McHenry, Illinois, 3 grandchildren; Julie Meyer, of Chicago, Illinois, Nicholas Meyer and Heather Meyer of McHenry, Illinois, several cousins. Preceded in Death by: His parents Visitation: Wednesday, November 17, 2004 at 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with a vigil service at 7:00. Funeral: Funeral mass for Richard I. Drabczyk of Midway, Arkansas will be Thursday,November 18, 2004 at 10;00 a.m. at St. Peter?s The Fisherman Catholic Church with Reverend Wilfred Okorochukura as celebran Burial: Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery by North Central Arkansas Veteran?s Council Color Guard by Alley-White American Legion Post # 52 .
