Memorial services for Richard Alan "Dick" Homan of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 7:00 PM, Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Steve Martin, officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until service time.
Richard died Thursday, July 28, 2011 at Cotter, Arkansas, at the age of 64. He was born November 29, 1946 in Waverly, Iowa, the son of Vern and Esther Pries Homan. He married Bonita L. Biermann on May 23, 1980 at Laguna Hill, California and worked as a truck driver for US Xpress. Richard lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since 1980 moving from California. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and ATV and spending time with family and friends.
Richard is survived by his wife, Bonita of the home, daughter, Nichelle Homan of Gassville, AR; 5 grandchildren, Tabitha Roberts, Hannah Woods, Candice and Courtney Marks and Dalton Homan; sister, Mary Homan of Sioux Falls, SD; sister-in-law, Lou Homan of Deer Park, WA; niece, Carey Homan of Seattle, WA.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Richard Alan Homan, Jr. and brother, James Homan.
Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum.
