A Memorial Service for Richard James Mann of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 P.M., Monday, September 8, 2014 at First United Methodist Church, with Reverend Randy Ludwig officiating. Military Honors will be provided by Alley-White American Legion Post #52 and the United States Air Force Honor Guard.
Richard passed away August 30, 2014, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 80. He was born April 7, 1934, in Racine, Wisconsin, the son of Armitage and Katherine Mann. He married Ann Giddens on December 17, 1955, at Walterboro, South Carolina, and worked as an Engineer for Schlitz Can Plant for 13 years. Richard was a U.S. veteran of the Air Force. Richard lived in Mountain Home since 1998, moving from Colgate, Wisconsin. He was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. and he was a Green Bay Packer season ticket holder for 26 years.
Richard is survived by his wife, Ann Mann of Mountain Home, Arkansas; son, Donald E. (Dorothy) Mann of Wisconsin; daughter, Cindi (Rob) Hajek of Wisconsin; brother, Robert (Stella) Mann of Wisconsin; granddaughter, Jackie Mann of Wisconsin; grandson, Matthew Hajek of Wisconsin; great-granddaughter Addison Czerniejewski of Wisconsin; several nieces and nephews, and special friends, Jerry and Gail Hillyard of Mountain Home, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Ruth Busch.
