Richard Edwin Miller was born May 5, 1940 in Omaha, Nebraska. He was the son of Carl Orlando and Hazel Gilbert Miller. He married Sharon Moon, March 29, 1974 in Des Moines, Iowa. Mr. Miller served thirteen years with the United States Navy. He was employed for fifteen years with Bell and Howell as a field engineer. He moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas from St. Louis, Missouri in 1997. He attended First United Methodist Church. Richard Edwin Miller passed away at Hospice House, May 27, 2006, at the age of 66 years and 22 days. Survivors: Wife of thirty-two years, Sharon Miller of Mountain Home, Arkansas; son, Douglas (Heather) Miller of St. Louis, Missouri; two daughters, Veronica (Doug) Williams of Jackson, Mississippi and Mandy (Ron) Brown of Perdido, Alabama; one brother, Carl Miller, JR., of Des Moines, Iowa; two sisters, Betty Prather of Des Moines, Iowa and Marilyn Frisk, of Des Moines, Iowa; and nine grandchildren, Christopher, Tyler, Brandon, Jared, Jessica, Kayla, Sierra, Alexandria and Savanna Preceded in Death by: His parents, one brother and one sister Visitation: 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, June 2 Funeral: Friday, June 2, 2006, 7 p.m., at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Erik Downs officiating.
