Richard Mitchell

Richard M. Mitchell was born March 18, 1931 at Fairfield County, Ohio the son of Robert and Nellie Springer Mitchell. He married Frances Hendrix at DePage County, Illinois on May 23, 1980. He was a former Heat Treater for Lindbergh Heat Treating in Melrose Park, Illinois for 26 years and had lived in the Flippin area since moving from Illinois in 1993. He enjoyed camping and traveling. Mr. Mitchell died on April 29, 2004 at Baxter Regional Medical Center at the age of 73. Survivors: Wife: Frances of Flippin; 3 sons: Reverend R. S. and wife Sharon Mitchell of Little Rock, AR, David and wife Beverly Mitchell of Naperville, Illinois, Jeffrey and wife Diana Mitchell of West Chicago, Illinois; 1 daughter Delores Mitchell of St. Charles, Illinois; 1 stepson Thomas and wife Jeanie Carr of Sullivan, Missouri; 1 stepdaughter Linda and husband Kyle Sims of Dyess, Arkansas; 1 brother James Mitchell of Lancaster, Ohio; 22 grandchildren and several great grandchildren Preceded in Death by: Parents, 4 Brothers, 3 Sisters Visitation: Sunday, May 2, 2004 at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home. 2:00 - 4:00 P.M.
