Richard Vogen

Funeral Services for Richard Norman Vogen of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be private. Richard passed away January 25, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 83. He was born November 11, 1929, in Joliet, Illinois, the son of Bert and Josephine Johnson Vogen. He married Carleen Sylvester on January 14, 1967, at Joliet, Illinois, and worked as a Firefighter for Argonne National Laboratories. Richard was a U.S. Air Force veteran of Korea. Richard lived in Mountain Home, since 1993, moving from Plainfield, Illinois. He was a member of the Elks. Richard is survived by his wife, Carleen Vogen of Mountain Home, AR; one son, Darren (Michelle) Vogen; one daughter, Kimberlee (Karl) Vogen and two granddaughters, Kelsiee and Ashley. He was preceded in death by his parents. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
