Richard Walter Wojcik

Richard Walter Wojcik of Lakeview, Arkansas, passed away December 12, 2021, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 78. He was born June 3, 1943, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Walter and Jean Anderzunas Wojcik. He married Kathy PIeler on July 12, 1969, in Chicago, Il and worked as a Plant Manager for Armstrong Container Company. Richard was a U.S. Marines veteran of the Vietnam War . Richard lived in Lakeview since moving from Chicago, in 2005. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Disabled American Veterans. Richard retired to Lakeview to enjoy his favorite past time fishing.

Richard is survived by his wife, Kathy Wojcik of Lakeview, AR;son,John Wojcik of Lisle, IL; daughter, Jennifer Wojcik of Lakeview, AR; grandson, Bryan (Paula) Wojcik of Flippin, AR; brother, Joseph (Carol) Wojcik of Chicago, IL; and great-grandchild, Brenton Wjocik of Flippin, AR.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Walter Wjocik.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 16, 2021, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm with a Vigil Service at 6pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral & Cremation Services in Mountain Home, AR. A Funeral Service for Richard will be 10:00 am, Friday, December 17, 2021, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum with John Wojcik, David Wjocik and Jennifer Wojcik as pallbearers. Military Honors will be provided by the American Legion and United States Marines Honor Guards. Due to current restrictions, masks are required.
