Rickey Joe Millsap of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed August 15, 2024 at the age of 50. He was born in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas on August 13, 1974. He is the son of Micheal Joe Millsap and Donna Gail (Baker) Dacus. He was a devoted Christian and of the Baptist faith. He had recently redevoted his life to the Lord on August 9, 2021. Rickey worked as a delivery driver and loved being able to tell his story to everyone in hopes of leading others to God. After being baptized and being healed, Rickey dedicated his life to talk about our Savior.

Rickey enjoyed being outside and seeing the scenery and being in nature. He loved exploring and hiking with his family. He always loved watching the hummingbirds and deer each year. Some hobbies he's had over the years include playing basketball and softball with his family and cheering on the Razorbacks!

Rickey held many wonderful titles while on the earth with us which include loving father, grandfather, son, brother, cousin, and friend. He will be truly and deeply missed but will remain in the hearts of everyone that had the chance to know and love him.

Rickey is survived by his wife, Shelli Millsap of Mountain Home, Arkansas; his father, Micheal Millsap of Bono, Arkansas; step mom, Charlotte Johnson of Bono, Arkansas; his siblings, Jason Dacus of Bono, Arkansas; Ashley Fain of Bono, Arkansas; Maggie Johnson of Jonesboro, Arkansas; Leann Ivy of Jonesboro, Arkansas; Ray Ivy of Jonesboro, Arkansas; his 5 children, Micheal Millsap of Mountain Home, Arkansas; Miranda Gardner of Paragould, Arkansas; Rebecca Richardson of Light, Arkansas; Hannah Brown; his 3 step children, Ashley Wallace of Mountain Home, Arkansas; Po Wilkey of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and Preston Scrape of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and his 8 grandchildren, Gabriel Gardner, Naomi Gardner, Melanie Gardner, Andrew Stacy, Reason Richardson, Caysin Brown, Kalyssia Russell, and Isla Wallace.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Dacus; his nephew, Kaleb Dacus; his grandparents, J.L. & Eunice Baker, Walter & Ruby Millsap; his uncles, David Baker, Larry Baker, Donnie Millsap, and George Millsap; his aunts, Deborah Baker, Earline Snyder, and Betty Dobbs.

A celebration of Rickey Joe Millsap's life will be held on November 1st, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Herman Missionary Baptist Church located at 21 county road 111, Bono, Arkansas. There will be a family gathering at the Mcgowan Sorghum Mill after the service. Those that would like to attend can reach out to Miranda Gardner for more information.
