Ricky Caples

Ricky M Caples, age 73, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday April 13, 2022 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Ricky was born on June 13, 1948 in Bono, Arkansas to the late Lillie and Garlin Caples. Ricky attended the Quality Ridge Church of Christ in Mountain Home. Ricky was passionate in every aspect of life, he enjoyed coaching basketball, golfing with his friends, watching sports, especially the Razorbacks and Cardinals, camping, hunting trips with his friends, four wheeling, fishing, gardening, cooking, and spending time with his grandchildren. His lifetime achievements include a certificate of appreciation of esteem and gratitude for Faithful Performance of Duty in the US Army as well as Physical Training award during his service and Arkansas High School Coaches Association for 10 years of dedication to his passion. Ricky was a person who's glass was always half full and stayed positive all of the time. He was a true gentlemen in every since of the word. He lived life to the fullest and enjoyed every moment with his family, friends and especially all his beloved grandchildren. Ricky took great pride and felt a great honor for serving his country.

Ricky is survived by his wife, Diane Baker Caples, of Mountain Home, AR; son, Travis (Dianne) Caples, of Orlando FL; son, Casey (Jennifer) Caples, of Jonesboro, AR; son, Cody Caples, of Memphis, TN; daughter, Dennette McCracken of Mountain Home, AR; son, Jamie (Lorie) McCracken, of Mountain Home, AR and a host of grandchildren.
Ricky was preceded in death by his daughter, Angie Caples and two brothers, Gary Caples and Gaylon Caples and parents, Lillie and Garlin Caples.

A Graveside Service will be Monday, April 18 at 12:00 pm at Conley Cemetery in Mountain Home with Brother Roger Pittaway officiating. A Visitation will be from 11:00 am until time of service at the cemetery.

Honorary Pallbearers are Rex Rogers, Roy Rogers, Ray Rogers, Danny Ward, Tom Jordan, Benji Bailey, Dick House, Jimmy Baker, Larry Baker, Kevin Rosa, Cody Jarrett, Darin Jarrett, Lorin Jarrett, Travis Baker, Larry Beaty and Roland Hodges.

Military Honors will be provided by the American Legion Post #52 and the United States Army Honor Guards.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Bob Davis Veteran's Center, 421 East 9th Street, Mountain Home, AR 72653, in memory of Ricky M. Caples.
